Digital radiography has truly arrived. We are completely digital with our radiographs, which means less radiation for you – much less. Our radiographs can be manipulated digitally to show things we never could see before, and they are digitally transportable, allowing us to email radiographs to specialists or to another dentist should you relocate.

Our office has had this technology for over twenty years! It has become such an indispensable tool for us that we currently have multiple cameras! You are now able to see what we see and understand more than ever what is needed and why. This allows you to be a participant in your treatment decisions.

Our office is equipped with magnifying loupes and focused lights which allow us to see better than ever. The doctors wear scopes with magnification that brings you within two inches of their eyes. This technology has benefited our patients so much that not only are our doctors “scoped,” but even our hygienists and auxiliary are also scoped. Our scopes bring us clarity and vision unattainable with the naked eye, allowing us to provide better dentistry.

The typical dental handpiece (drill) used by the majority of dentists is air driven. These handpieces provide the ear piercing whine patients all hate, along with the constant up and down of that noise. Our office has been using electric handpieces for over 10 years. The benefits are such that our doctors would never go back to air driven handpieces. A more consistent and accurate torque is the main advantage, along with a better feel for the procedure. They are also quieter, a feature welcomed by our patients.

The Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a type of X-ray machine that produces clear and precise 3-D images far superior to what we get from a traditional X-ray machine. Specially designed technology allows us to customize the CBCT images, meaning we can use the device to capture a view of just a few teeth, or of the entire skull. We use CBCT to get a closer look at soft tissue, bone, teeth, nerve paths, and other dental structures, which can be helpful for diagnostic purposes, or for devising a customized treatment plan. CBCT images also are helpful when diagnosing oral diseases of the jaw, teeth, facial bones, and sinus cavities.

Through a six-stage filtration system, Surgically Clean Air utilizes a multi-stage purifying technology to purify, clean, and re-energize air inside our dental practice. The filtration system captures dust, bio-aerosols, viruses, and many other harmful pollutants. This purified air helps keep our patients calm, safe, and healthy. The scanner utilizes advanced imaging technology to capture precise digital impressions of the teeth, eliminating the need for traditional messy dental impressions using dental putty. The digital scanning process is much faster compared to traditional impression techniques. It allows dentists to capture a complete 3D model of the patient’s mouth within minutes, reducing chair time and improving overall efficiency. the iTero Scanner offers a more comfortable, efficient, and accurate alternative to traditional dental impressions, enhancing the patient experience and enabling precise treatment planning and delivery in various dental procedures.
