The implants need time to fuse to the jawbone. Temporary replacement teeth, made of acrylic, will be attached to the implant abutment, which serves as a connector piece between the implant and the prosthetic teeth. The healing process typically takes about three months. During the first 6-8 weeks of the healing period, a soft diet is recommended by avoiding hard, crunchy or chewy foods.
After the healing process, permanent replacement teeth will be placed. The replacement teeth are a single unit made to look like individual teeth. These bridges are made of zirconia porcelain, a material known for its quality and strength. Unlike hybrid implant bridges or restorative options made of metal fused porcelain, a bridge made from zirconia porcelain will not chip, providing you with a durable and beautiful tooth replacement option.
