All on Four

Bloomsburg and Danville PA

All-On-4 dental implants can replace all of your missing teeth on the top or bottom arch of your mouth. This advanced dental implant technology uses four implants to replace an entire arch of teeth, providing you with natural results.

Tooth loss is more common among American adults than you might think. More than 35 million Americans currently live without all their upper and/or lower teeth. Previously, losing multiple teeth left dentures as the only real option, but All-On-4 dental implants offer a more comfortable and permanent solution.

How do All-On-4 Dental Implants work?

The revolutionary All-On-4 system can replace an entire arch of teeth. First, a digital scan of your mouth and jawbone will take place, and those digital images will be used to determine the necessary location of the dental implants, which are made of titanium and surgically placed into the jawbone.

The implants need time to fuse to the jawbone. Temporary replacement teeth, made of acrylic, will be attached to the implant abutment, which serves as a connector piece between the implant and the prosthetic teeth. The healing process typically takes about three months. During the first 6-8 weeks of the healing period, a soft diet is recommended by avoiding hard, crunchy or chewy foods.

After the healing process, permanent replacement teeth will be placed. The replacement teeth are a single unit made to look like individual teeth. The results are completely natural and beautiful, giving you the smile that you deserve. At Hamilton Dental Care, we prefer to use the Prettau Zirconia Bridge for the All-On-4 procedures. These bridges are made of zirconia porcelain, a material known for its quality and strength. Unlike hybrid implant bridges or restorative options made of metal fused porcelain, a bridge made from zirconia porcelain will not chip, providing you with a durable and beautiful tooth replacement option.

All-On-4 advantages

All-On-4 is an ideal way to replace multiple missing teeth, providing you with a permanent, secure fit, unlike traditional dentures that tend not to fit well for some patients.

These implants also will fuse into your jawbone, preventing bone loss and maintaining a younger looking facial structure.
