ClearCorrect
Bloomsburg and Danville PA
Orthodontic treatments have come a long way since the traditional metal braces with brackets and wires.
At Hamilton Dental Care, we offer ClearCorrect aligners, a state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment option.
How does ClearCorrect work?
ClearCorrect orthodontic aligners are invisible; yet straighten teeth without the discomfort and unsightliness of metal braces. Because they are clear, you can still smile without being self-conscious. Your teeth will be straightened without most people ever realizing you are wearing the aligners.
Every set of ClearCorrect aligners is custom-made for each patient using a 3-D model of your teeth, created from impressions, photographs, and X-rays. Hamilton Dental Care uses that model to construct a comprehensive treatment plan for gradual realignment.
A ClearCorrect course of treatment requires phases of aligner therapy, with each phase lasting three weeks. A new set of aligners is worn during every phase. You also will need to have your progress evaluated by the dentist on a regular basis.
How long will it take to get straight teeth?
Treatment time can last from one to two years, depending on the specific needs of each patient.
Benefits of ClearCorrect
ClearCorrect aligners are removable, although you need to wear them for at least 22 hours per day to make sure you are receiving maximum benefits. You can take them out when you eat, which means you do not have a restricted diet. Plus, clear aligners make oral hygiene easier, because you do not have to worry about cleaning around all those metal wires in your mouth, which are part of traditional braces.
ClearCorrect is a more comfortable orthodontic option. The aligners will not irritate your mouth, teeth or gums like traditional braces. They also are an ideal treatment for patients who have a metal allergy.
Acrylic aligners can be a successful treatment and could give you an esthetic option to consider.
